Outreach/Advertising Coordinator


Job Description: 

This is a full-time (40 hours/week) position that requires someone who can work in a fast-paced environment  while working on multiple ongoing projects and deadlines. The Outreach Coordinator works with the  Manager to serve the Board of Directors and the Sandhills Cattle Association’s members. This position will  be offered sick leave and vacation after a set probation period.  


• Performing day-to-day tasks in the office, including filing and mailing  

• Communicating with clients via telephone, email, and walk-ins 

• Marketing and sales of advertisements in Sandhills Cattle News 

• Maintain SCA publications and lists: Annual Directory, Surveys, List Services, Feeder Cattle News,  Sandhills Cattle News, website, social media 

• Assisting the Manager in maintaining the membership records and bulk mailings • Organizing exhibits for the SCA as well as representing the Association at trade shows & events • Assisting the Manager in planning and implementing events and educational programs 

Qualifications and Skills 

• Administrative writing skills 

• Microsoft Office Skills 

• Professionalism, confidentiality, and organization 

• Reporting skills 

• Scheduling 

• Supply Management 

• Typing 

• Verbal Communication 

Experience and Educational Requirement 

• Previous experience in marketing, advertising, and graphic design.  

• Knowledge of agriculture and technology is highly desired. 


• Wages are based on previous experience and are negotiable. Payroll is twice per month on the 5th & 20th.

The Sandhills Cattle Association uses Microsoft Programs including Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Publisher, Google Programs including Gmail, Google Docs, Google Calendar, Wix Website Builder, Quickbooks Online & Quickbooks Premier-Non-Profit, AccuZIP Addressing software, Adobe, and Acrobat apps.

The Association works to foster the improvement and education of the cattle ranching business; enhance the marketing of cattle; improve access between producers and feeders/buyers; and promote a spirit of cooperation, pride, and mutual understanding among producers of Sandhills cattle.
