2nd Annual 'Hunt in the Hills'
The Sandhills Cattle Association is hosting its 2nd coyote-calling contest for the Sandhills of Nebraska as a fundraising event and also as predator prevention for our next Sandhills calving season! You do not have to be a member to participate, but you do need to pre register!

- Contestants must have permission to hunt on land, no shooting from the road, no use of artificial light, and no spotlighting.
- Thermal scopes/night vision are allowed for night hunting.
- Non-residential hunters must provide a copy of their small game permit at the time of registration.
- Accepting all contestants from Cherry and surrounding counties, all entry fees must be paid before the start of the competition.
- Coyotes must be checked in before the end of the competition.
- Awards & cash prizes will be granted to the team with the most coyotes. And then we will pay the next couple of spots.
- Teams of 2 individuals, gunshot only, no use of dogs or traping.
- $10 side pot for the Best Coyote. The Team with the Best Coyote will be awarded a prize as well!
