The Sandhills Cattle Association is hosting its 2nd coyote-calling contest for the Sandhills of Nebraska as a fundraising event and also as predator prevention for our next Sandhills calving season! You do not have to be a member to participate, but you do need to pre register!

RULES & REGISTRATION TBA

  • Contestants must have permission to hunt on land, no shooting from the road, no use of artificial light, and no spotlighting.

  • Thermal scopes/night vision are allowed for night hunting.

  • Non-residential hunters must provide a copy of their small game permit at the time of registration.

  • Accepting all contestants from Cherry and surrounding counties, all entry fees must be paid before the start of the competition.

  • Coyotes must be checked in before the end of the competition.
