Thank you everyone who participated in our first ever Ranch Mom's Photo Contest! We had some great submissions which made choosing winners extremely difficult! We appreciate all those hard working Ranch moms and their contributions to the beef industry! The beef industry wouldn't be the same without Ranch Moms. In June we're celebrating Ranch Dads, so make sure to submit a photo by June 30th!
Our first place winner was this very inspirational lady Barb Wentz.
My Grandma Barb has gone above and beyond for being one of the hardest working ranch wives around! She has helped my Grandpa fix fence, hall cattle, brand, work hogs, and much more for almost 60 years! She has Alzheimer’s so this picture is very special because although she’s not able to do what she used to, she is still along for rides to aid my Grandpa in a different capacity. I’m blessed to raise my family 15 miles away, and my three girls have been instilled with hard work ethic, a love for animals, and an appreciation for Nebraska farming and ranching!!
Thank you Husker Meats for your $150 sponsorship for the beef box!
Our second place winner is this hard working mom, Kelsey de Ganahl.
Kelsey is holding her 3 month old daughter Margot. Margot spent the week out in the pasture with her Mom and the crew preconditioning calves.
Thank you 402 Beef Co. of Bristow, Nebraska for sponsoring $100 towards the $150 Beef Box for a
second prize!
Our third place winner is this cattlewoman Deandra Rousey.
Spending time with the kids after moving pairs to new pasture.
Thank you Valentine Locker for sponsoring $75 of the $150 Beef Box for this lucky lady!

I took this photo of my daughter and her heifer. I love how she can walk right up to her in any pasture. I like to think the other heifers are jealous of the attention this one gets!!

My granddaughter, Bella, loves the bottle calves! Photo taken at my parents ranch. Sadly they are both in Gods arms now but this photo made their hearts sing!

Janice Brogan
My mom with my wife and I and her grandkids. She spends many hours fencing, moving cattle and calving in her John Deere side by side. The kids spent all calving season with her and she got to drive them around each day and share the joy of ranch life with them.
